    Hello friends ,

    I want to create a new unit , according to some pictures i have.

    Can anyone explain it in some important details : How to Create a New Unit , How to Change Its Stats(Charge Bonus,Attack etc.), How to add Special Abilities (Banzai etc..) , How to Create a New Armor VS ..
    Or else any link to such page would be awesome as well.
    I am sure many people would want to know it !

    As soon as i learn , i will public a very detailed UNIT CREATING GUIDE.

    It seems that your still new..

    1. If I we're you in creating new units, I suggest downloading the latest Pack File Manager located in the "Downloads"

    2. After you already have one, open the program.
    3. Now of course since your gonna start from the beginning.
    4. Go to File>New or Ctrl+N

    5. Open another program of Pack File Manager.
    6. Let's say the first Pack File Manager you open is called "A" and the second is "B"
    7. Right click on the name called "db" then Extract>Extract Selected
    8. Then just select a folder where you want to place (I suggest create your own folder inside the "Data" folder.)

    9. Go back to Pack File Manager "A"
    10. Now right click "Untitled.pack" then select Add>File(s)
    11. Now from here, open the folder where you have extracted those files I asked you to do.
    12. Then select these
    .....-"building_units_allowed_tables"
    .....-"cdir_unit_qualities_tables"
    .....-"uniforms_tables" .....-(This is for the picture of the icons, and model of the unit.)
    .....-"unit_required_technology_junctions_tables"
    .....-"unit_stats_land_tables"
    .....-"unit_to_unit_abilities_junctions_tables" (Abilities of the units.)
    .....-"units_tables" .....-(Price and upkeep of the unit, etc.)
    .....-"units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions_tables" .....-(The allowed faction to have this certain kind of unit.)
    .....-"units_to_groupings_military_permissions_tables" .....-(AI rebels can spawn the selected units.)

    13. Now it's up to you to test and make experiments out of these important things.

    How to create the image

    1. Go to Pack File Manager B
    2. Open the "UI"
    3. Right click on the "units"
    4. Then extract it extract>extract selected
    5. Now select a folder where you want to place those extract files.

    6. Go back to Pack File Manager A
    7. Then right click on the "Untitled.pack"
    8. Then select add>add directory
    9. Now select the folder UI

    10. As you can see there are 6 kind of folders inside it.
    .....-"icons"
    .....-"icons_square"
    .....-"info"
    .....-"mask"
    .....-"recruitment_large"
    .....-"recruitment_small"

    11. Now just open the folder where you extracted "units" UI>units
    12. Open one of those folders, and inside it. You can see pictures of different units.
    13. Then open a program that you can use to edit pictures. (I suggest Photoshop)
    14. Now go to this directory ...data\encyclopedia\content_images\units
    15. Use one of those pictures to edit the picture of your units.
    16. After your done, open these folders inside the folder (where you have extracted it)
    .....-"icons"
    .....-"icons_square"
    .....-"info"
    .....-"mask"
    .....-"recruitment_large"
    .....-"recruitment_small"

    17. Simply open one of those pictures and edit it to what picture of the unit you want.
    18. REMEMBER, the size of the picture should not be change. And I suggest don't interfere the borders of the pictures.
    .....- At the same time observe those pictures how they are being placed.

    19. After your done with all those things. Go to Pack File Manager A.
    20. Right click "Untitled.pack"
    21. Then select Add>Directory
    22. Now select the "units" located inside the UI where you place the desired folder.

    23. Now that your done placing the pictures inside the mod you've made.
    24. Go to Untitled.pack > db > uniforms_tables
    25. Now select the third column, and replace it with the name of the picture. (Remember, if you've replace this specific column. The model will end up changing. The only way to customize a model, is simply making your own "variantmodels" which is hard to do if you're new.)

    Presto! You're done, and I'm puff up..

    This is quite hard to do, from the start. And isn't that to simple if you're new. But you'll eventually get use to it.

    Or you can use Unit Editor that comes with the Assembly Kit.

    I have the assembly kit ,
    I am not new at this game , i follow TW since the year M2 came out , but i have never created a unit before , so calling me new wouldnt be a mistake Haha , i knew that i could be hard but its a bit higher than i tought But also i am good with and also into computer and programing , very good , -dont mind my post number thats not my level - so i ll be able to do it pretty good.

    Espicially kenichinsfs , you have given me a awesome guide and also very much precious labor , i am greatful . Thank you my friend.

    And also i want to ask -LestaT- , if there is a other way to do it with Unit Editor that comes with Assembly Kit. Is it the practical way ? Or whatever we call it...
