Thanks for the information!Although I won't be buying a laptop(I will build a PC) to run Rome 2, this influences my decision.

For those unable to watch the video at the moment, it focuses on the co-operation between Intel and CA. Focal points are multithreading and optimisation for laptops.

If you can spare a bit more dosh I would recommend getting this typehttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Lenovo-Ideap...ds=lenovo+y580 (Dedicated GPU's are key for gaming). If you cant afford it, I would either save up until you can get it (Remember, Rome 2 isn't coming out tomorrow, no need to rush), or you can try to find one around your price range (Just make sure it has a dedicated GPU).
Omg, look at those legions running at 8:09, so hawt.
I'm fed up of pc's at the moment to be honest i might just sell most of my desktop parts off like my i7 and my hd 7870 and then just go ahead and buy a 4th gen laptop with two gtx 780m's in SLI that way i could play any game on the move which i have always craved for despite being a huge fan of desktops portability is something this world has grown to love.
Anyway this brings love to my ears at least the 4th gen news im sure i will blow around 2 thousand bucks on a laptop sometime at the end of this year and yes its a lot but thats the only way of making sure of 60 fps + full HD recording of rome 2.
It's new info indeed :-) +rep
How much did Intel pay CA for this venture?
How about this, instead of a focusing on a specific generation, a generation of which won't be the most used for a couple years to come, or perhaps never depending on how Intel does things, and instead focus on optimizing multicore support. Yeah?

An odd interviewing technique but thanks for posting.
I'm more excited about this game everytime i see it. So, i`m guessing. i`ll have to save for a new computer. As my current laptop just barely runs empire. love playing it anyway, even when it chugs along slowly every few minutes lol.
