Sega has shut down its Australian studio

Sega has closed their Australian studio. The developer, formerly known as Creative Assembly Australia, was responsible for Medieval II: Total War and London 2012: The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games.

First Lucasarts and now this. I wonder if this will affect Rome 2 Total war in anyway.

Sad news to me as a medieval fan i so prefer their graphics (and rome 1's as well) to any of the other game's in TW.

According to gamesindustry.biz they are not closed yet though. They are going to be shut down later this year.

One more good developer closed! Yesterday, Lucas Arts, today the very talented guys that make us Medieval 2: Total War. I don't like this path....

Medieval II was so damn good, they have talented people in this studio that can help for Rome II.
