Players sign up, they should be prodded to play.

Don't want to play, don't sign up. As a longtime host I can tell you, there were several games where my players abandoned me and I was ready to kick the can down the road forever, and at least one I cancelled outright. And I'm a popular host.

Why had mat reason to believe I were rabid?

I knew of a scan result from a couple of days ago that gave a strong indication of you being the crocodile. Based on how easy it is for rabies to transfer IRL, if you were wounded by it, strong chance of you being infected by it, and hence becoming rabid yourself.


Side note on the non mafia scum role(s): I don't think its a cult, otherwise Treva wouldn't of died without being lynched or attacked. It could be an adaptation of a SK role, in which if he fails to kill someone he dies and they become the SK, but that seems weird to me.

I don't really know, but my guess would actually be a cult. Because rabies is easily transferable, I think that the rabid animals are trying to infect everyone, just like normal cults try to convert everyone.
