    Default Obstructive Rocks and Shrubs on Battle Map

    For the past two weeks i've been experimenting with RTRPE and the Imperator addon mod. In that time I believe I may have found something far more annoying and frustrating than the battle map AI--evil rocks and shrubbery of doom.

    What i'm referring to are these particular pockets of rocks and shrubbery, decorating battlefields all across the campaign map. Whether I wage war against the Illyrians, Makedonians or Bactrians, I find that these rocks and shrubbery make an appearance in every battle and always trap the AI as it's routings. (they act almost like walls, forcing my units to walk/form around them)

    Now, obviously, i'd like to remove the evil rocks and shrubbery of doom (tm) if possible, and since this is the Modding Subforum, I thought you guys might be able to tell me what txt file controls the placement of these damn things and what line/lines need to be adjusted to see that they no longer plague my battles. (I've found that the evil rocks and shrubbery of doom (tm) even appear in custom battles, so i'm guessing the problem is not dependent on the campaign map)

    Anyway, I'm not sure if you can change them. Maybe descr_ground_type ?

    in data folder look for file descr_vegetation.txt
    search for:

    vegetation default_scrub
    {
    layout 412 scrub_layout_open.tga
    radius 0.5
    height_range 0.5 2.8
    aspect_range 0.3 1.2
    lod shrubs
    model medi_foliage_03
    model medi_foliage_04
    model medi_foliage_05
    }

    --> change the radius from 0.5 (or another value) to 0.

    Delete descr_vegetation.db
    restart game...
