    Default I can't install

Hello there. I have heard a lot about this mod and so DLed it one day. So I did all the usual stuff, like uninstalled and then reinstalled RTW and then patched to 1.5 (I have RTW Gold edition, which I believe comes in v1.3 or 1.5 but I ran the 1.5 patch just to be sure). Then I installed TE v5.0 and then ran the 5.1 patch. Only thing is, there was no trace of TE anywhere on my comp. No new icons, no new files that I recognized, and when I ran RTW there was definitely no TE there. It was just regular old vanilla. So now I am confused cause when I ran the install program there was definitely something unpacking and going somewhere. Can anyone help? Thanks.

    1) Are you installing it to the data folder of your RTw installation?

    2) Are you installing it ot the correct path, as i believe the Gold edition is installed in C;\Program Files\Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War and not C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War which is the default path of the installer.

Ah, yes, #2 could be the issue. I'll try to install again tonight. Thanks.

Yes, the file path was indeed the problem. I have TE running now (and I must say I'm greatly enjoying the new look and feel), thanks for your help.
