    Default 3.2 Any Mods for Gondor Armor/Increased Recruitment speeds?

    Im currently using 3.2 TATW, w/ MOS 1.41 Installed
    Okay so a couple of questions, why do Gondor Infantry not wear plate armor anymore and instead mail/robes? I found the former to be much better looking. So is there a mod for 3.2 TATW that restores that feature?

    And my final question, is there a mod that speeds up the ability to produce units/higher level units? For example Baron Samedi made this mod http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...t-for-TATW-1-4 which is called "Total Recruitment" which increases the replenishing rates of units and makes more advanced units available from the start as long as you meet requirements.
    I want a mod like this so I don't have to play with militia my whole game, however Baron Samedi's mod is only compatible 3.1 TATW and is only available in his own separate compilation. So what I want to know is if there is any mod that performs in a similar manner as Total Recruitment, but for 3.2 TATW.

    I don't know much about the coding/programming side of these mods, but I'm fairly sure you can adjust things like recruiting requirements and replenishment times in the code for the game.

    As far as the armor, you need to upgrade their armor to make them look like the movies. Each unit card shows the armor required for their upgrade, and each smith building shows you what level of armor it can provide. For most higher level Gondor units, I believe the upgrade for them is Partial Plate (which I think comes from the Heavy Armorer building), and once they have that upgrade their battlefield appearance will change to reflect it.

    That makes sense, i'll have to get an armourer so they have full plate.

    recruit_pool "Dunland Horsemen" 1 0.12 1 0 requires factions { dunland, } and region_religion catholic 40 and hidden_resource grasland


    0.12 decides the frequency a new unit can be recruited in this case every 8 or 9 turns .. my math is bad

    the second 1 determines how many units you can have stockpiled in the recruitment window before the unit pool is maxed

    0 is the starting experience of the unit

    oh and EDB is export_descr_buildings.txt located in the data folder

    So if 0.12 is 7 to 8 turns, then 0.6 will be like 3 to 4? I dont want to make it too fast to recruit, but just enough so it doesnt feel like such a grind.

    there's this, though he claims it doesn't work for him on 3.2, though I seem to remember getting it to work (could be wrong). Maybe you could have some luck?

    This mod is underrated IMO. It adds 3 armour upgrades for militia-level Gondor units, bringing them up to partial plate armour.

    ok Twcenter i won't reply with a quote then

    recruitment times are a division of 1 so 0.6 would be 2 turns
    4 turns 0.25
    3 turns 0.35 i think.. never done that one
