CTD at end turn, One-turn recruitment

Hey all, I'm playing as Rome in the one turn recruitment campaign. I'm not very far in - I have just kicked the Carthaginians out of Italy and have an army sieging out Capua. For whatever reason the damn thing keeps crashing whenever I end a turn.
I'm playing on the Alexander.exe. I tried my luck with the BI.exe and rather than load the campaign it just returned to the menu.
I'll keep trying out different stuff, I am fairly sure it's due to the siege, but any advice would be appreciated!

I've deleted the duplicate thread - TWC has been a bit unstable of late......
