At the risk of breaking the silence...
Against a half-way competent player Gaul will lose. Parthia will just continuously pull away, and with only three cavalry if you do catch up to them their 6 catas will butcher the cav fast, leaving the infantry defenceless. Rushing against a faction so vastly superior on cavalry is very risky. The player need only be mildly competent in skirmishing to counter your rush.
Another way to try it would be heavy skirmish, but by the time/even if you've killed their archers yours will be near out of ammo and heavily depleted, plus Parthia can field 2 slingers and 2 ha as well as their archers, so 10 to your 6. Once it comes to the melee fight you'd lose since catas are vastly superior, and barb cav has no sword for melee.
If you go all inf you'd might as well admit defeat there and then, since catas will defeat chosen in a melee fight.
Bottom line, Gaul should never win, unless your opponent is a newb, severely intoxicated, insane, or a zombie
