O cool new dragon age artwork...
O wait it's total war
Hmmm not really happy with this, I really don't know why so many companies just can't resist to put woman in armour. Is it some sort of fetish? Or just appealing to people with such a fetish?
'I'll be damned ' Marcellus Wallis
screaming woman?
this people of CA has seen too many series of Xena the warrior or spartacus and read few history books.
Why not make a game based on the Hyborian Age of Conan and stop spoiling the history?
never had women in combat, this only comes in these series of low quality as Spartacus.
the matriarchy existed in Celtic societies and was symbolic figures that inspired armies as boudica, but not have woman in battles.
that's a fantasy as the iliad amazones.
Ok, KLA, thanks.
It does not sound good to me though![]()

I love these photos I do not know why people are crying
For God's sake, we know little about how people 2000 years ago dressed, especially when it comes to barbaric cultures. First, there was little surviving written accounts. Second, those barbarians rarely portraited themselves on pottery as the Greeks and Romans, and when they did, it was only very primitive. Clothes didn't survive 2000 years, and even armours are now nothing but piles of rusted metal. And here we have "experts" who claimed they know exactly how people dressed 2000 years ago.
the women are hot!
i really need to get laid....
TsarGrey, they are identical to Japanese monks for me.![]()

\_/ <-- That is CA's cup of care, its is currently empty.
As much as you ***** and moan and about historical discrepancies that cup will remain empty.
The barbarians look fine to me, high level swordsmen maybe, the druids and women both look like agents with the staffs and robes.
The women in chainmail could be a unit yes
KLA, do you have a source for post #52? Good idea, but the armor upgrades idea has equal merit.
"Rem tene; verba sequentur." - Grasp the subject, the words will follow.
I'm loving how the Suebi and the Arverni look! The Iceni also look good.
It's only concept art, not sure why anyone is getting so worked up....oh wait...I forgot where I was
Anyway, I'm almost certain these were confirmed as art for the agent types of the barbarian factions - not actual battle units. If i recall they were originally featured in one of the German magazine previews.
Those images of the druids and women remind me of this type of thing.
