    Default saving a texture for a unit

    ok ive done all i wanted to the unit i reskinned and now im trying to save it... i do what all the tutorials say to do.. i put .tga.dds at the end of the name... now when i press save it says to many channels to export what am i doing wrong?

    im using photoshop.. and i have the nvidia dds plugin... ah this happened before but i got past it but i didnt know how i did it

    *edit* i got past it by merging the visible images and then flattening the image

    well open channel box see how many channels are their
    delete alpha channel now go back to ur layers select textures of all the parts u have created by selection tool {alll}
    now select inverse
    now copy the selected
    go back to channels selection
    create new channel
    paste the selected in new ly created alpha channel {the region which dosent have any testurea must be black in alpha channel}
    {well thats how i do it try the method }
