Thanks for this mod, it sounds promising. I have one question though: has it been verified that rebels are indeed more active using this mod?
+rep for the great ideas!
I'm going to use this with BGRV, and report back. The most annoying thing I find about most AIs is that an army which has rebelled from you freezes and doesn't do anything at all forever. In BGRV this is important, since it is more likely that large armies go rebel.
This looks great, will try it soon!
All the AI generals are 8-10 star, makes the vh/vh HURB campaign harder, but not much "historical", is intended or not?.
Guess gonna change the export_descr_character_traits and start another campaignor better live with it, the CAI part seems fine and I'm lazy

it's intended because the AI uses auto_resolve more than the human and it encourages the AI to actually use their generals (you will notice that, i promise)
it also encourages the human to fight battles which is never a bad thingbut yes its intentional though i should maybe make it so that it excludes rebels.
new upload for new hurb
Have been playing with your Hurb version-- 120 turns in to a Sicily campaign on H/H. Am impressed with how well the ai is doing. Like the balance. No issues I have noticed.
Thanks, and keep up the good work![]()
So to install i need to unzip HURB and MISC mod into the data folder and thats it?
Also do you know if its compatible with BGRV?
I hope i can try this ai because it would be great for a change!
To my understanding:
-If playing with HURB, 1st follow the instructions found on the HURB thread (requires use of SS_setup and other steps, HURB is a separate submod), then unzip the HURB version of this AI into your SS/data folder. However, I do not know if this has been updated, as yet, for the latest version of HURB. Some of the files are the same and this does not insert changes using SS_setup. Also, if using HURB, you cannot use BGR IV or V.
-If not playing with HURB, first complete all setup options, then unzip MISC mods version of this AI into your SS/data folder. I do not know whether that will be compatible with BRG V, but suspect not as BGR V has its own AI tweaks.
Luck.
Thank you very much for the reply Aspirant![]()
Why do the Georgians have French voices. My princess says "For France!" that is wierd. Other than that the mod is great![]()
I was King Doradfrom Doradsa. I left Doradsa to play Medieval 2 Total War !!!
does this compatible with current latest HURB?
confused :
1. why do HURB need a special version?
2. why does it contain EDB and EDU? why the necessity to alter HURB core files?
can't I just use the campaign ai and campaign db for HURB?

I don't get it, why is HURB need special package while everything else including even TATW (or perhaps even EB2 if it really as what you described) work with the much simpler version? can I just use the simpler version with the latest HURB?
how can i explain this... the simpler version is not the full package. the full package only works with HURB.
the simpler version is watered down for the sake of compatibility with EVERYTHING and only includes the AI and not all the small changes you can do in core files to influence the AI.
so if you want then you can use the simpler version but it's not as good as the full package.
