Turn 6 and I have 6 provinces and 1 vassal. I didn't keep track of everything but I'll tell you what I can remember. With your starting enemy fukui give them 1500-1600 plus indefinite access to become your vassal, kanazawa will probably attack them so keep them or drop them. I dropped them because I had a particular preRD setup in mind and they weren't a part of it. Send the 4 units on the left side of wakasa towards tamba, you should end up just short of their castle on turn 2. They attacked then I sieged and assaulted the castle on turn 3. With your main force in wakasa head towards the omi castle, I think I sieged on turn 3 and Tsu was reinforcing me.
Once Tamba is taken, start selling military access to your neighbors. exchange access with your imperial neighbor in settsu, give them 10 turns while you get 5 turns. Then move your units into settsu right on the border of yamashiro. Declare war on yamashiro, if things work out right then they'll head for omi at which point your forces in settsu siege and assault yamashiro then defend against the yodo rebels. After taking Omi declare on tsu, give them some money plus indefinite access to become your vassal. Exchange access with gujohachiman 5 gets you 10 same as above. Move your forces to the Ise border then declare on kuwana(alternatively you could buy 5 turns of access from kuwana) moving thru their territory to take owari(gujohachiman and okazaki were allied with nagoya so I went to war with them as well). At that point okazaki attacked owari then I attacked them in mikawa.
While your doing this sell as much military access as you can and fluctuate taxes between very high and minimal. I tend to favor spear levies early on so I recruited as many of them as I could while doing this. Hopefully you can apply some of these techniques in your next campaign.
