I know, I know. A mod based on a FANFICTION? but before you judge me, hear me out.
I am an aspiring author (I’ve released a 1 dollar ebook on amazon, but it is VERY amateurish, I need to proofread it) And I have released several stories on well . . . fanfiction.com. The most popular of which is my Inheritance cycle rewrite (Eragon, essentially.) This rewrite has over 18k views and is growing. Everyday I average AT LEAST 200 views, and my writing has gotten critical (fan) acclaim.

As you can see, I have a small following of loyal readers who enjoy the universe I have created. But It could be so much more. I have pages upon pages of lore. Quotes, wars, factions, and even some short stories. A map is on the way, and while I was working on it one day, I had an idea.

Why not a mod for total war?

Of course, I have no modding skill aside from adding names to the playable factions. However, I have information that would make one of the most unique backdrops for a high-fantasy mod for the amazing Medieval total war II. I would be able to work closely with modders, giving them information that would result in a game that is not only fun, but backed by thousands of years of fictional history. This is a humble request, and I want to make this opening statement as short as possible. However, to prove my words, I will provide the basic information of my fanfiction: Namely, the setting, the factions, the people, and the races and religions.

SETTING

In my fanfiction, the story is primarily based on the continent of Alagaesia. The tale is timed one hundred years after a cataclysmic war termed the Forsworn Rebellion. For the humans, they were forced to bend the knee while their former king was killed with his eldest sons, the youngest, who was just a boy at the time, fleeing in exile. The Dwarves were beaten and their small mountain settlements (which were above ground) destroyed. The Elven Empire was reduced to less than half of its size, a large portion of land cursed by the elves themselves after they lost it to Imperial legions. The land is bleak and dry, littered with mummified corpses of both elf and man. That is the world at the start of the fanfiction.
ALAGAESIA
I am working on a map, but it is not complete. However, the continent of Alagaesia can be broken up in easily understood portions
HUMAN LANDS
THE WEST: Mainland of Alagaesia, where most of the humans are situated.
THE NORTH: Another region locked in brutal winters and cold summers. The main character, Eragon, hails from this region of the world.
THE NEAR EAST: another home to humans, bordering the cursed lands sealed by the elves.
THE NEAR SOUTH: A major trading port and last hold of Imperial territory.

-SURDA- A region of the far south, conquered by the exiled son of the previous king.

-ELVEN LANDS-
DU WELDEN VARDEN OF THE FAR EAST
the last remnants of a once great Empire, the elves retreated back into their old lands. The Elves are made up of three sub groups-

Laen Elves- The Laen Elves are a fair race, with white skin and blonde hair, which sometimes is even the color of silver. Tall and strong, they are a people of many tongues and trades.
Xoshan Elves- These Elves have dark chestnut skin and are skilled with the bow and sword. Depending on their clan, they can shapeshift into several types of animals.
Sealed Elves- Sealed Elves are descended from Laen Elves, having been sealed with elven blood magic. They have skin as dark as ash, with white/blonde hair. They were sealed due to their ancestor using a forbidden magic to bring back the dead. Sealed Elves make up the largest racial group among the elves, and are used as servants and first-line troops of the Laen Elves.


-DWARIB KINGDOMS-

The Dwarib (called dwarves by some) inhabit vast tunnel cities underneath the mountains of Farthen Dur. The underland empire is large, with cities that rival even the finest lands of men.


-BEYOND SURDA-
Humans live beyond Surda, but they are unallied with each other, and fight among themselves. These humans can be broken up into two groups:
BEYONDERS: Beyonders have jet black skin, red hair, and pointed noses with thin lips and high-cheekbones.

JAHADMEN: Jahadmen have dark brown skin, kinky black hair, and slightly large noses with full lips. They possess strong square jaws and slanted eyes.


In my fanfiction, each group of people are divided even further. The Empire is made up of many different human houses, and so are the Elves. The Dwarves have a slightly different social structure, with Merchant families wielding lord-like power based on how rich their wealth. Each society has their own language, even among the humans. If this mod were made, I would be able to provide the mod team with information on the cultural aspects of the races. Despite being the same ilk, a human from the North would be named and sound entirely different from a man who lived in the West.

I have much more information, but I do not want this thread to be too long. By tomorrow, my story will have 19k views. I think this would be a cool project, and while I do not have modding skill, I have a very organized wealth of information that can be applied. Regardless, thank you for your time.
