Crash/error on startup

Hi,

i have a problem with TATW, ive installed it all fine,(according to many guides and videos) i havethe 3.2 patch, the problem is: when i want to start it up, i get the first loading screen but after that it just stops, no error message i just get brought back to my desktop.
Medieval II works fine, same goes for the kingdoms campaigns,
can anyone help me with this,
or direct me to the appropriate thread, i have been looking for this problem but i havent come across it.

i have got it working now by deleting the stuff in the Virtual store thing.... please close thread

try to go here
C:\Users\[User name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods.
this is for windows 7 and vista... you might have "program files" without the x86,
i deleted the Third age folder in the virtual store and it worked...
hope this helps, otherwise, try running it as Administrator
