Default I love this mod but I can't play it because the unit pathing during sieges is unbearably broken

The title says it all. No matter what .exe I play on, my units will erratically follow movement and attack orders. Some just go off to the other edge of the map when I play sieges. This makes me unable to use formations and tactics; I just have to mass them all into one blob and attack, because so many of my men just refuse to do what they are told. Is this not able to be fixed or something? Are there too many men on the field (I play huge sizes)? Or were sieges just never intended to be playable? Because really, I downloaded this mod years (?) ago when it came out, and now, trying to come back to it, I find it hard to believe I was ever able to play it at all.

Path finding with larger scale units will always present a problem especially when going into settlements (I think some of the RSII settlements contain different buildings as well which may make the area more cramped).

However, I play on huges settings (using the R:TW Alex exe) and have never encountered the problems that you seem to have.

Try grouping units into smaller groups of units. Also attack from more than one direction.

When in the city just micro manage the units. Expect path finding to be messed up and plan accordingly.
