Name all Shogun 2 Gold Units to Join The WALL OF HEROES!

How well do you know your units? To celebrate the launch of SHOGUN 2: Gold Edition, we’ve put together an image with a whole load of the units available in Shogun 2, Rise of the Samurai and Fall of the Samurai in one place.

Just a minor question, will the winner get any prize like the Gold Edition itself? I am craving for it!

I am pretty close to completing the list, just a few things remain unnamed...

It's a fun idea, but I can't help but think that this image is a bit flawed...

1. It uses models which are not present in the campaign in any form and show up purely in cinematics (farmers, narrator, etc)
2. It uses models which are only used as portraits for units (Ship captains, etc)
3. It seems to have many repeated models (there aren't that many ashigaru units in the game unless you count every clan variation as a different unit or ship crews as different units)
4. It leaves out many fairly unique looking units (Shinsengumi for instance) and instead uses many very similar looking units

Most importantly though:
5. Non-cavalry units not in the first two rows are so small and hidden behind view that it's extremely hard to say much about their exact type. For instance, the samurai at 43 and 61. Can someone really claim that they know exactly which units these guys are?

Maybe you could do a fairly high probability guess on them all if you really pored over all the details and did a lot of elimination work based on pose, coloring and so on. A bit too much work for me.

I have done most of the infantry already, the problem is with the cavalry CA have 'hidden' behind. Poor resolution makes it worse.

Also, it is hard to distinguish some Samurai from others when only their faces and helmets can be seen. The helmets are used At least if we could properly see their weapons, there would be no problem and we could confidently write that it is a Katana Samurai and not Yari Samurai, or even a Katana Hero or Katana Kachi or so on.

I also don't remember that Red Bear Infantry from FoTS carried a revolver. Many Ashigaru and Samurai models are covered completely by others, and they are totally unclear because only their faces can be seen (which doesn't help in telling who they are or what weapons they carry).

And I am still wondering where that mounted Rifle Samurai came from...

Tokugawa mounted gunners. That unit isn't questionable, just not something you'd generally see in the campaign ever. You see the mounted gunners plenty in multiplayer though. The one in the picture does have the wrong weapon though, as noted by weirdo.

Most (all?) unit leaders carry revolvers. The sabre cavalry isn't sabre cavalry, it's just a modern general's bodyguard unit (you can see it lacks the band across the chest)

The officer in the unit can wear the selection given in the picture.

By the way, shouldn't Tokugawa mounted gunners carry arquebuses instead of rifles? I used to think that Shimazu Teppo cavalry was the only one with guns...

That means Bushi No. 5 also questionable...

That Revolver-carrying Red Bear is the Unit's Officer, makes sense, no problem with that.

No. 35: Tadakatsu Tetsubo should carry Jirushi in the back.
