The Death & Dying Report: Your Evil Heroes at their best.

Any fish eyed fool can take a stack and mown down everything in sight, but real heroes do it by themselves, or pretty close to it. Here's a place to honor your evil heroes individual exploits. I'll start off and keep a running tab of the top ten achievements as they are posted.

Let this also be a place where the Third Age forum philosophers can answer any and all questions that you might have about your Evil Heroes & Generals.

    1. Khamul the Easterling, Mordor Nazgul: Third Age 3.2 Vanilla. Medium/Hard Setting, Large unit size.

He took Thornburg castle by himself: He beat 4 units{2 peasant axemen, 1 peasant spearman, and 1 huntsman.} When they salied on the first turn. Using the Nazgul Screams he took out the huntsman/spearman with the first scream, then the two axemen with the second. Yes I did make them chase Khamul to tire them out and also charged down hill whenever possible. Net results: 31 Nazgul beat 448 men with a loss of 4.

And yes...I know a screenshot of the battle results would say it all but I don't know how to do that.....yet.

A +Rep to all all those that post screenshots ...

Post Scriptum: The fun fact that I learned from this is that Nazgul's can scream twice, with a 2 minute pause in between the first and the second screams.

Took the castle next to Mordor's mountains (the name is escaping me, but it's to the right of Cair Andros) with a force of Orcs under the Witch-King. Most of my Orcs were killed in the siege and Gondor had about 300 men left inside, all either Militia or Infantry. I attacked with the Witch-King alone and killed all of them, lost 5 guys and gained full Silver chevrons.

The Orcs of Gundabad Chieftan was travelling with about two units of trolls to reinforce my newly captured Bree

Unfortunately, the lazy asses running Eriador didn't bother to destroy a huge bandit stack waiting in a previously built watchtower that I didn't know existed, until of course I bumped right into them. 4 units of "Bandits" (genreal included), 2 spearmen, and one javelin unit against my Chieftan's bodyguard and 24 trolls.

Sent one unit of trolls to a farther end of the map to curve around as the 4 units of bandits immediately charged and hit my chieftan's bodyguard and supporting trolls. The spearmen were attempting to flank us, but I somehow got the supporting trolls to stop them in their tracks. Meanwhile, the other unit intercepted the javelins and made short work of them while the spearmen surrounded my supporting trolls until the last one dropped. By then of course, the trolls fighting the javelins were finished with their business and charged right in to take their fallen brethern's place. But this is about our heroes right? So what was my Orc Chieftan doing?

My Orc Chieftan and his bodyguard held off all 4 of the bandit units until it was pretty much down to my Chieftan and a few others. Obviously I used the special beforehand, but my Chieftan had some nice Dwarven Mithril, Eriador Armor, AND Elven armor bonuses, so he wasn't going down quickly like most orc generals do

By the time the trolls made the last of the bandit spearmen route, I had one left, and he charged right into the bandits before dying a few seconds shortly after. Then it was down to just my Chieftan fighting off the last of the bandits (I think it was like 20 - 1), and I watched him take down every single one of them until it was just him and the enemy general. The enemy general tried to run away, but my Chieftan chased after him and ended his life of crime with one final charge!

God, the final results were hilarious xD I managed to heal some of my wounded trolls though

Another good one was my single unit of Wargs taking out 4 units of dwarven miners as I defended Dains Hall for the OotMM xD They SERIOUSLY owed me one after that!

In M/M difficulty with Mordor, back in the days of TATW 1.4, the Witch-King is deep within Gondor territory alone, after Minas Tirith has been conquered. An army at least half full (maybe a full stack, i can't recall for sure) consisting solely of gondor militia attacks him. I deside not to retreat immediately, but rather fight and inflict as much damage as possible with his bodyguard, then hit the retreat button.

Now, the Witch-King, being the badass he is, starts charging the militia repeatedly, while his Scream scares the hell out of them. The militia numbers start dwindling and, long story short, they finally break and decide to run for it instead. Result is, the Witch-King with his bodyguard alone took down an army of 1500+ Gondorian "men". I was expecting him to just kill a few soldiers, get surrounded, lose his bodyguard and then retreat to fight another day.

On a side note, i was playing with the one ring submod which gives HUGE bonuses to factions holding the ring, while making it much harder to find it. Soon after this incident occured, i finally got the ring to barad-dur and my campaing took off. Before i even understood it, i was at Elrond's doorstep with two full elite stacks. However i consider my campaign started becoming a piece of cake with the Witch-King's stand.

For in-game screenshots, just hit PrintScreen. The images are stored in .tga format in the Medieval II Total War\tgas directory.

You've just had Nazgul and they're supposed to be evil. In comparison, my Haldir executed prisoners!

Not just once though, added up it probably was nearly 2 thousand orcs beheaded and thrown in a ditch after a series of ambushes. He didn't even have the decency to reveal himself before them! In comparison, I think my badass elf is much more evil than your box-standard Ringwraiths.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I am me. You are not me. You are you. If I was you, I wouldn't be me.
If you were me, I'd be sad.But I wouldn't then be me because you'd be me so you wouldn't be me because I wasn't me because you were me but you couldn't be because I'd be a different me. I'd rather be any kind of bird (apart from a goose) than be you because to be you I'd have to not be me which I couldn't do unless someone else was me but then they would be you aswell so there would still be no me. They would be you because I was you so to restore balance you would have to be me and them meaning all three of us would become one continously the same. That would be very bad.
