Swedish Crown Prince Karl Johan Bernadotte Life drabant during late Napoleon war

I make toy soldiers, (Swedish)
I've done these two, the green is a värmlänsk field hunters as he looked in Stralsund 1807 And the blue-yellow - white is a soldier from the Uplands regiment in Stralsund same year.

Anyway, the future king, Crown Prince Karl Johan Bernadotte was supreme head of the combined allied Northern army'' against Napoleon, including victory at the Battle of Leipzig

Anyway, my question is if any of you have pictures or researched about Karl Johan Bernadotte Life Drabants and what uniforms they wore?

Cool stuff, Bernadotte was also in command of the British artillery troops during the German campaign. As for uniforms I can't help you but Steph or Prince of Essling probably can. They post here often enough, just look in some of the other uniform threads and that might help you cause you either find the uniform or you can ask them on that thread.

You will see the Swedish drabants from different time periods at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...familjebok.png - unfortunately the illustration is in black & white. The only picture in colour I have is for 1783 - see attached - which is far too early. I understand the unit had become in effect a palace guard - it was not a combat formation.

Hello and thank you for your reply, yes that picture I have already unfortunately , I do have some pictures of what I think they looked like (maybe) but nothing are confirmed about that. the year Im serarching for is betwen 1807-1814

Then a couple of images on tin men I have done in the same uniform as you show the picture of the other regiments, the green soldier is from Bohus Dragoon Regiment and the blue is from the Karelian Dragoon Regiment (Finland)

The tin man looks like Duke of Sodermanland livdrabanter of 1802.. see attached.

the Duke of Södermanland later became King Charles XIII, so it is very likely that Drabants looked this way as the picture shows

Duke of Södermanland livdrabanter of 1802, yes the soldier is very similar, do you have a larger Image?the Duke became year 1809 Charles XIII of Sweden, after the swedes deposed their own king Gustav IV Adolf
after that he became Carl Johan Bernadotte's adoptive father, and when Karl XIII died, Carl Johan Bernadotte = Carl XIV Johan
