    Default Installing M2TW Download a No-Go

Hope someone can help and I apologize if this has been asked before.

Had a computer disaster and to get it running at all they had to wipe the thing clean including all games. Can't find all the installation CDs for M2TW/Kingdoms, just the Kingdoms CD, so I downloaded M2TW/Kingdoms from Amazon (about 10 bucks) to my desktop. Every time I try to install it I get a "Network might be unavailable" message even though my Internet connection's working fine. The only things I have hooked up to this thing are my keyboard, mouse and single Internet connection.

I'm running Windows 7 if that matters.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The only game I have left is Minesweeper!

    Thanks

Is there any chance we could get a screengrab of the error message? It might tell us more.

Can you connect to webpages with your current bare-bones setup? I'm assuming you can.

As I've never used Amazon's digital download service I'm at a wall but there may be more if you can give us that picture. Good luck!

Check your permissions though your antivirus, firewall, and/or router?
Did you reinstall your motherboard drivers?
Have you reactivated your copy of Win 7 and run Windows Update installing all software options?

    Thanks for the replies.

Can't get a screenshot, but it's an "!" followed by "Network connection might be unavailable-Check your Network connections". My Internet connection seems fine (as my ability to post here shows).

I have no anti-virus installed yet! That was wiped clean too. I also can't get Windows updates, and that I have to take up with Staples who "fixed" the computer. Maybe that has something to do with it--either that or a bad download from Amazon. Anywhere else to download the game? Sorry. I'm new at this.

    Thanks

What is the brand and model of your computer?

Steam but you'll have to buy it again but it's patched.

Amazon and Gamefly aren't for most of the world outside of the Americas.
