    Default Battle Animations

How does one go through disabling some of the new finishing moves units use when fighting? I like most of them, save for some of onehanded swordsmen animations. Like the one where a soldier would turn 360 degrees to perform some sort of power attack to finish off his enemy, who is lying on the ground. I don't care that much about realism, yet I find it ridiculous to see soldiers turning their backs from the enemy when standing in the front ranks.

I used the search button to find my answer, yet I couldn't find this being discussed before. Please refer me to an earlier thread if it exists. Thank you in advance.

Is there really no one who can help me?

You should use google search only in these forums, its a much more powerful search. Click me!

Here is one thread that i found that might help you solve your issue, if it dosent ask this question in the medieval 2 modding subforum. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...nimations-back

Thanks for your reply. Forum search is indeed a bit lackluster, so Google does a better job. I'll use it more from now.

That said, I really can't find anything regarding the animations. I tried to simply delete the folder containing the onehanded animations, which of course didn't work. Then I read that the animations had to be rebuilt. Does it work the same way as with rebuilding the music.dat file?

Your best bet would be to ask here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forum...and-Animations
