Hey all! I decided to release a few edits I made to all the various factions that are in vanilla MOS V1.41 (will not work with directors cut or expanded map...if enough people like this minor submod i can make one for both of those if need) Now what does this submod do you ask? Well have you ever been disappointed that some factions get all the good unique generals like Gondor for instance? Well...you're in luck! This submod changes just about every factions starting generals (except Gondor and the Free People of Eriador) some of the changes general wise include...
-Infantry general for Rohan
-Ranged general for Rhun
-Melee Infantry general for Dale
-Melee Infantry general for Lorien Elves
-Ranged general for Dwarfs
-Infantry general for High Elves
-Ranged general for Mordor
-Horse Archer general for Silvan Elves
-Ranged general for OOTMM
-Calvary general for Wild Men
-Infantry general for Harad
-Calvary general for OOG
-And finally a ranged general for Isengard.
Due note however these aren't new units or anything like that. Just units that are all ready in the game simply now as generals (for instance Cirdans bodyguard is now a set of Mithlond Noble Swordsmen)
The generals have also been beefed up a bit stat wise (all except the Rohan / Mordor / OOTMM generals) so that they can feel like a useful generals bodyguard unit. They have not been changed texture or model wise in any way shape or form.
There has also been a few improvements made over such as Legolas and his father now have special abilities (for some reason they do not in MOS 1.41...not sure if intentional or not but I decided to change that!) And also the Wild Men faction Leader and his heir also now have a special ability (hooray for the five people who have beaten a campaign with them! ) There are also a few other minor changes as well...but i'll let you find them out for yourself
That about sums it up for this submod...If you have any questions or comments such as "Hey that general for the High Elves is too strong / weak / doesn't have enough men / etc" do let me know. And if there are any complications, bugs, or mishaps please post them! And if anyone wishes to use this for whatever reason in any way shape or form feel free!
TO INSTALL...
To install it simply copy and paste the 2 files into their respective folders...
the export_descr_unit.tx goes into the Medieval II Total War / Mods / Third_Age_3/ Data folder Allow it to overwrite your old one. But be sure to have a back up incase you want to revert back!
And the descr_strat.txt goes into your Medieval II Total War / Mods / Third_Age_3/ Data / world / maps / campaign / imperial_campaign folder

Also you should start a new campaign for this to take full effect!
This version will allow you to use all generals bodyguards I edited and all the other heroes that were all ready made for custom battles. Same install instructions as before of course.
I fear you will have to re install your copy of third age total war or you can redownload the expanded map and directors cut and simply copy and paste their descr_strat and export_descr files (Should work but im not 100 percent sure). Make sure in the future you always have a back up of these files in case something goes awry
