Where ? Gamespy is Dead

Is that it then? m2tw online-play is finished now? Wiki says that Gamespy closed-down in Feb 2013.

So I'm wondering are there other places where m2tw is played online, maybe sometihng to do with Steam? I bought my M2 - M2k from the store, but I have a Steam Account from other games of mine.

Just trying to figure out if there is another host ?

Well, by a near Miracle, I was able to find my "ye olde" gamespy account - was written down in a notebook stashed away with my dusty-old game cases. And, the online does work for me. Finally!

But, the Gamespy is shut down it seems so there wouldn't be any way for players to get online without having had a pre-existing account? I would of been locked out if not for my forsight 5 years ago to write it down on paper!

They use IGN now. Actually for some time now. M2TW MP is alive and kicking.

My old ID (from around 2008) functions fine. And if you don't remember your user name or password, you can make a new one at the IGN website that appears when you try to register at the Gamespy website.

By the way, I don't use the name "Guerrilla" in M2TW. Also, I think I've seen you in online MP games since you posted this, Defianc4 Maybe you've got it working now

Hey, I want to play TATW and Med 2 online battles but for both it says my Game Spy ID profile is wrong? Your profile is just the nickname right? I download Game Spy Arcade just to verify my details so I am pretty sure they are right, anyone know what the problem is? I know this isnt the MP forum but it seemed pretty dead compared to this one.

Hi,

Use gamespyarcade. I downloaded it from cnet download and could log in and thus join the multiplayer games.
