Do you fight all your battles?
If so, do you have a good success rate?

Re: Do you fight all your battles?
It is not necessary if the enemy is outmatched and is not capable of doing much damage . Against large armies though[from powerful factions]It is best not to use the auto resolve as you may take unnecessary losses and the AI is stupid increating outcomes. If you have played for time you should bulldoze everything in your way as the Romans. As other factions you may need to refine your techniques but you should win 99% of the time.

Re: Do you fight all your battles?
I fight about 99% of all battles in my campaigns because I can come out with less of my men dead in most cases.

Re: Do you fight all your battles?
Basically I only auto-resolve if my army is in close range of a city that can easily replace all the casualites through retraining. Otherwise, TO THE FIELD MY BROTHERS!

Re: Do you fight all your battles?
Great example is earlier today when I took out armies way bigger with forces auto resolve gave up on.

Re: Do you fight all your battles?
I autoresolve only when I significantly overpower enemy so the battle would be boring. Otherwise, I command it myself and usually win.

Re: Do you fight all your battles?
I only autoresolve fights against rebels. Against other factions I find they let too many of the ememy troops get away even if you outmatch them.

Re: Do you fight all your battles?
I don't think i've ever Auto-resolved a field battle, ever!
But give me anything more than 5:1 odds for a siege and i will gladly AR it.

Re: Do you fight all your battles?
I tend to auto resolve frequently unless a battle is in dire need of my direct intervention. I prefer the sense of being in command of the overall picture as opposed to that of a simple field general. I dunno, guess I'm weird that way.

Re: Do you fight all your battles?
I always fight my battles, as I mainly deploy small armies of elite units, usually against hopeless odds, like 3 Urban Cohort, 2 Roman Archers and a General vs a full 20-stack of enemies. If I auto'd my battles, I'd probably lose 90-95 % of the time

Re: Do you fight all your battles?
I fight all battles unles I'm very close to a city that can replenish my losses. The casualties sustained/casualties inflicted ratio of auto-resolve is just horrible.
