    Default Weird Card Issue

Ok so My Build is this

    AMD-FX 8150 OC'ed to 4.2 GHZ

    Single/Crossfire 7950's OC'ed to 970 MHZ

    16 Gigs G-Skill 1866 MHZ RAM

SSD Drive which Shogun is installed on

    Saber 990fx ASUS Motherboard

Ok so my issue is, When I first got my two cards, I was able to run shogun, atleast in the battles, at around 60-70 FPS on the highest settings, with MXAA at x4
For some reason, could be due to the 13.1 CAP, When I run Crossfire now, Im getting around 30 FPS, I did two different benchmarks that was the first one with crossfire on

I then started the second benchmark with one single card, and the game ran around 70-80 FPS with an average around 65. My question is.. WTF is wrong with the cards lol
Ive never had this kind of issue before, and this isnt the only game that does this, endless space is running at 15 FPS, and Civ V is running at 24.. arma 3 Alpha is only going at 30, and most other games stay around 30-40 fps, but my main beef is with Shogun 2, does anyone know if it would be the drivers doing it or I have Faulty cards from OC'ing I dont mess with the Voltage, just the Shading Clock and Core Clock.

I have a similar problem. I just got my 2nd 7970 for crossfire and everything (e.g. Empire with 4xSSAA) runs great except Shogun 2 where the 2 cards are only utilizied by about 50-60% according to MSI Afterburner. I am currently running the 13.2 beta 6 drivers. It's most likely a **** up with the crossfire profiles on AMDs side. I will try some stuff with Radeon Pro which allows to create custom SLI profiles. Since I am brand new to crossfire, this might take a while. But when I find a solution, I will let you know.

Hmmm, on http://www.hardware.fr they recently benched Shogun 2 in a crossfire 7970 configuration and got decent framrates. They used the 13.2 beta 5 drivers. So it's almost the same as I have. Maybe there is a different problem.

If you want you can try a 13.2 beta driver or 13.3 beta driver . Be aware that they could introduce any kind of problem with other 2D- or 3D application as always

I found the reason for the bad crossfire scaling in Shogun 2. The ModManager.exe preselection application results in a launch process which seems to initialize Shogun 2 as a windowed application first. And windowed application don't support crossfire. Renaming ModManager.exe to ModManager.exe.1 for example solves the problem

I really wished that fix worked but I'm still getting about 40 to 50 percent gpu utilization. Any other ideas? my 7950's are aching to play this fully.
