Default help with exporting cas file with 3ds max7

    I need help with 3ds max7...
I try to add a spear to a unit model who have only sword and when i try to export cas file it give me this error.

    ---------------------------
    Error!
    ---------------------------
Mesh primary weapon must have the skin modifier at the top of the stack. If it is static then it must have a bone as it's parent
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

It means you have not connected the weapon to a bone, you need to connect the bone to the right or left hand(whichever one it is in) and reexport the model.

i am tring for a month how to export and now i can successfully export
all this is happenning because the next tutorial in the series has not been relesed yet

u have sword in right hand ????
    if yes
then select the sword and link it to the bone right hand
for linking u will find a button in the top left corner after undo and redo buttons

then u will be able to export the model

    have u changed anything else

I think he wants the spear liked to the bone, the sword is probably already linked. Anyway, the rest is correct, good to see you still remember what I told you.
