the best time
- i'm playing with the scipii faction and i have conquered hole northern africa (numidia and carthage). I don't attacked the egyptians. i conquered hole spain and almost frenche. britain has only britania left. egypt has got almost hole asia. only armenia, pontus and parthia is left of asia.
i also conquered sparta, rhodes, cretan and corinth. I'm now sending a army to london. Everything is going fine. I have got a message that if i attack rome they will be happy with me ass their ruler. But if i attack rome, how will the roman factions respond to this. i don't want them to attack me. But i think that i don't have a choice because the senate is hating me (because the people love me).
So what should i do?
- i have also a second question. What is a good way to defeat chariots because britain and egypt has lots of chariot troops.
Sorry for the bad english.

Re: the best time
For first thing, if you attack the senate then the other Roman factions will attack you. There is no way around this as sooner or later you must fight them if you play as the Romans.
To defeat chariots you need to get them bogged down and so they can't move. Once a chariot stops moving it is dead. So 2-3 units of cav mobbing a unit of chariots usually does decent, or a mass of infantry to bog them down so they cannot move.

Re: the best time
Uhh, you can hold out for awhile but eventually the Senate will demand that you begin having your faction leader commit suicide. Once this happens the first time it continually happens over so that is really the deadline you have until being forced into action.

Re: the best time
About the chariots, I find that using arrows work particularly well, especially flaming arrows. I was fighting Egypt as Pontus and destroyed a unit of chariots with 2 archers before the chariots ever got to my infantry.
