Steam woes

I have been trying to get this mod to work for ages, as I am a huge fan of Warhammer and Total War. I have the Steam version, which seems to be causing non stop issues with most of the mods I try. I am running on Windows 7 (64) and I installed the launcher that Gig linked in his tutorial. It shows up in the launcher, and when I launch it loads a "splash" screen for the mod, then it just does nothing.

Any thoughts?

Reinstalled both the base game and the mod, got it working.
