    Default Unit card minimod

    A small mod changing some of the unit cards of the mod. They are not uniform, because I made them over the years and have changed style and taste and also found that some factions work in light and positions where other factions don't.

    Attached is a preview of the newest update, altering the Ayyubid, Abbassid and Sindh cards.

    Most of them are made with a wide screen and probably work best for that.



    Installation:

    Unpack the attached compressed .7z zip file (using 7zip or whatever zip-application you prefer).

    Open the folder(s) so you see all the unit card files (.tga format).

    Copy the tga files and paste into the faction folder whose cards you want to change, and don't forget the "mercs" and "slave" folders.

    The unit card folders are located at .........\Medieval II Total War\mods\Broken_Crescent_kingdoms\data\ui\units.

    You can of course decide to only paste those cards you wish and leave the rest.

    It is totally compatible with other mods and with saved games but back up the old ones just to be sure. You don't actually even have to exit the game!

    They look sharp and uniform, great =) Perhaps you will improve upon other unit cards, as well?

    Reuploading does not fix the error. I don't know the cause but have to assume it is something with the forum itself, as usual ever since the server crash(es) and new look of it. If you have any ideas, just tell.

    OK, try this one, as a zip file. Seems to work for me now...for now...

    "The Man" making some more beautiful unit cards! I too would like to see you do the same magic for BC that you did with Third Age. Whenever the forums will let me post rep without falling asleep first while waiting, then I will give some well deserved rep.

    Here come the heaviest of the heavy. Unpack and paste the faction folders in the ui/units folder just like with the Makurians. The bodyguard cards only show up in campaigns if you have a submod(ding) allowing the recruitment of them.

    Persian infantry and hired troops. They are dark because I can't figure out how to make shining cards without everything turning into white with no details.

    The attachment to this post contains all previous cards too.

    The lazy modder has finally scraped together a primitive preview and a disordered mod version with more cards. Enjoy!

    A small update added with new Ayyubid cards and the lower generic ghulams. I am quite satisfied with the infantry, as usual the lower tiers surprise the most, but the mamluks are improved a bit too which was tricky to accomplish.

    Abbassid and Sindh cards are added. The whole package is too big for one attachment so I split it in two.
