Third Age Total War Crahses On Startup...no solution i have found..

Hello, I recently downloaded Third Age Total War and installed it, did all that was needed. Then I pressed start on the campaign I switched names with and it started up, got the ring from the movies and the background picture, pretty nice. Then it crashed and I got the unspecified error message. So my question is, how do I fix this? Btw I already tried the change time zone and turn off the Daylight Savings Time thing.

Other info: I got version 3 of TATW, but I haven't got the patches for it. (3.1 and 3.2)... so frustrating!

I switched names with and it started up <-- specify this please

why haven't you added the patchs? i would do that before anything else

then try deleting map.rwm located in data\world\maps\base\

I changed americas into another name like, americas2444. And changed Third_Age_3 to americas.

It still crashed on me. Where the hell do I install the patches to? And can I get a screen shot of the folder where the mod is located? 'Cause I have well (in order): Data, Mods, Packs, Preferences, and Third_Age_3.

So frustrating...
