heres how you do with gaugamela (never tested it) Persians will have parthians for troops and parthian archers, Pontus for chariots and cavalry and alexander's will have all the cool pike units wearing the phyrgian helmet and those companion cavalry

I did once make a nice liitle recreation of Thermopylae. I was using Terrae Expugnandae, and I just got a few Spartans and a ton of Persian units (PArthia Pontus and Armenia) and I did a river battle. When I did it the river had no bridge, just a shallow corssing. And the Persians came right across it, just sent all their man forward while their archers rained arrows down on the Spartans and their own. Check my screenshot thread to see a sweet pic of that battle, a link is in my sig.

I downloaded the Thermopylae map and the Historic Battles 2.6 mods. I didn't like the way that they were set up so I just put the maps into custom battles. I am making a re-enaction of the Persian Wars and I have all 3 of the land battles fought in those wars: Thermopylae, Marathon, and Plaetea. Salamis is the one I'm missing, but it was indeed a naval battle so .

    I'll post screenshots soon.
