Who do you think, for me it is going to have to be Greyjoy or Tyrell.
Greyjoy because it seems Euron is going ape on everyone and Oldtown is under constant threat.
Tyrell because... well they have fought little and are still up in the food chain!

I'd say Martell is the most powerful at the moment. They are still totally unspent, not having fought anyajor battles so far. Combine that with a Lannister hostage and we have a winner.

ok I put up a poll!
Don't you know the golden rule about polls? Never put them up.
It is such a quiet thing, to fall. But far more terrible is to admit it.

Tyrell. They have lost very little men during the war an have a stranglehold on Kings Landing. Add that up to them being the most powerful house before the war an we have a winner.
Many thanks to the good folks down at the Graphics Workshop for the sig.
Arryn. Simply because they haven't fought and aren't threatened on all sides, like Tyrell, the GC, and Martell. Besides, the knights of the Vale are some of the best knights in Westeros and the Vale is packed with food and supplies (and Stark Loyalists).
Definitely Tyrell. They haven't seen any of the war, except a few battles with Stark men and the battle of King's Landing. They also have the best knights of the realm and arguably the best piece of land in Westeros.
Now it's probably Tyrells. However, should the Arbor and Oldtown be taken, as well as Highgarden being under a threat, they might be too scared to do anything major other than trying to repell Greyjoy.
Should Stannis get his northmen, about 10,000 probs and the North as well as the 20,000 sellswords he wants he should be pretty powerful.
And while Aegon and the Golden Company only number about 10,000 now, they might get both Arryn and Martell in not too long time - THEN they'll be incredibly powerful.

I wish i could say stark, but well... they are decimated and their banners changed sides![]()
so i would go for martell!
UNBOWED UNBENT UNBROKEN
Well it's between Tyrell (who have the numbers but are stretched around the Crownlands and Stormlands) Arryn (who haven't fought any battle so far but they probably haven't raised all they men they could into an army yet) and Martell (who have two big armies formed up and ready for war in the Dornish Mountains). I'd go for Arryn since they have good defensive position, a good position to strike from and a good amount of troops. The Martells mentioned themselves that they don't have that many men since Dorne isn't very populous and the Tyrells are bogged down into having to defend against the Greyjoys, defend the Iron Throne and Maergery and have to deal with Aegon. They're stretched too far.
It will be more interesting later on when the comparison will be between whoever is left of the Arryns, Tyrells and Martells against Stannis with what Northeners he can get to follow him and sellswords he might be able to aquire and Aegon with all the Targaryen supporters he can bring to his cause.

What of Danaerys? At this point she has a dragon who is shown to be already immune to most hand held weapons, an army of Unsullied and from the way things are going a very powerful Khalasar.
On a side note I just realised that the Khal Danaerys meets at the end of ADWD s led by Khal Jhaqo who Danaerys promised to kill slowly and painfully when he raped and murdered a lamb girl that Danaerys saved.
"It was a cruel fate, Yet not so cruel as Mago's will be. I promise you that, by the old gods and the new, by the lamb god and the horse god and every god that lives. I swear by the Mother of Mountains and the Womb of the World. Before I am done with them, Mago and Ko Jhaqo will plead for the mercy they showed Eroeh."

"I, Pinkie Pie, declare that these treats are fit for a king, or a queen, or a princess!"
"Me? Ruin? I'm not the ruiner, I'm the ruinee! Or is it ruinness? Ruinette?"
"She's ahead of the litter all right. The pick of the litter. The cat's pajamas. Oh wait. Why would Applejack take some poor kitty's pj's? That's not very sporting of her."
"More balloons! No, that's too many balloons. More candy! No, less candy. Ooh! I know! Streamers!"
"Oh my gosh. Hold on to your hooves – I am just about to be brilliant!"
Daenarys is sick alone in the dothraki sea with a dragon she can't control and a khall who would either rape her to death or bring her to the dothraki city. She's not in the best position to do anything I'd say![]()
Danaerys has her moon blood she has a dragon who has clearly formed an attachment to her (it helped feed her and came back to her at the end of the book when the Khalasar found her) and seems ready to take the Khalasar, burn the Slavers and relcaim her Unsullied. While I am not a fan of her I can not deny that she is in one of the best positions out of all of the characters.

It will take some time for her to ship all the unsullied, freed slave, sellswords and dragons on Westeros. And it will take some time to find enough ships to transport all of them in one go, and she needs to defeat her enemies near Meereen before she can do any of that. She is in a better position than other characters, but not an immediate strong contender in Westeros.
Even with Victarion and his ships you can't get all of Daenerys' troops to Westeros, not without making several jouneys.

Personally, I think Arryn/Baelish, simply because they have Littlefinger. I am desparately hoping he ends up on the Iron Throne.
I did see something about Dany. Basically, say she magically gets away from Jhaqo, gets all her armies, and lands in KL now. She would basically be leading an army of everything Westerosi hate. Her army would consist of Sellswords, foreigners, slaves/ex-slaves, dragons and Ironborn. I think that if she had gone from Astapor to KL, she could have been a great Targaryen. Now, I think she has gone over the edge towards madness. (As a side note, she doesn't even have the rightful claim anymore. Wonder how she'll take that. Dany the Kinslayer anyone?)
"The Northerners will never forget this"
"Good. Let them remember what happens when they march on the South"
I think that's where the Kraken steps in. She might end up with Victarion's Iron Fleet at her side.
Yeah i gotta go with aegon, the mercs hes got are highly trained and he might get an alliance with the martells and who knows i think it be cool if he married sansa in some future book hes the rightful heir hes got my vote
Arryn, I must say. They have the most knights left. Tyrell lost many of their's on the Blackwater. Perhaps almost 2/3's because many of their knights fought with Stannis. But in terms of manpower they still number the most, even if they aren't knights.
