Oh, I'd love to see Thrace as the 8th faction. 50% cause the faction would be awesome and 50% to shut up the seleucids and Ptolomaic fans lol (never mind their importance)

Both Dacia and Thrace are not factions. They were composed of many tribes and only united rarely in confederations. Thrace never united until the Romans made them into a province by forcing them to unite.

Ah **** it... everyone seems to think tribal nations were factions like the Numidians, Greek cities, Iberians etc. All the Greek city states will be separate factions. The Iberians will be separate iberian factions. Hopefully there will be different African tribal factions.

In no Rome total war Etruscans ever made it in, even though much of Roman culture is based off them. I guess an RTW with Etruscans will be set farther back in time.

Depending on the 8th one, there are alot ontus, Dacia, Hispanic tribes, Pergamum, Armenia, Numidia, Greek cities (Athen, Corinth ect).

Hopefully these "secondary" factions will be playable at some point. By DLCs or whatever reason. It is a stretch though. In R1 Pontos, Greek City States, and Thrace were very enjoyable. Not to mention mods like twRealism and EB which added more like Bactria or Illyrians.
