I'll be a happy man if they just fix that godawful AI
examples:
-trying to chase horse archers with heavy cavalry in the battle map
-attacking in spread-out waves (in the campaign map) instead of concentrating power
-imbalanced armies in the campaign map.. I've seen plenty of infantry-only armies, without even an archer to balance it out
-breaking ranks in the battle map: make armies balanced and then make them hold their ground if you can't make em' smart! (ex: pikes in front/archers behind, cavalries and general in reserve)
-stupid recruiting in the campaign map: I've seen scythia consistently recruit axemen and archers instead of horse archers and cav (WHEN THEY ARE CLEARLY CAV BASED)
-besieging towns with slightly stronger armies then trying to starve you off (which has worked exactly ZERO times)
I could go on and on. Most of these are simple fixes (like the recruiting/balanced armies thing, that's basic stuff). This is the sixth or seventh game of the series, so get the AI right this time around (which is mostly always hardcoded so there's nothing modders can do).
I want to hear more news about enhanced AI and less about "new factions" like Macedonia.
