How do u naval battle in Rome: Total War Imperial Campaign?

For some reason, whenever i get into a naval battle, i can't attack. It only shows flee or declare defeat or something. No attack button. This is very strange because i can never win a battle. ):

You cannot actually fight naval battles in Rome: Total War. You have to auto-resolve. I find the best way to win naval battles is to have either larger navies or better ships. Having two 10-bireme navies is better than ten 2-bireme navies for me.

Yea total war games couldnt play naval battles till empire. Like what was said before, make sure you have the advantage and you will likely win the battle.

When Rome II comes you can fight them but not in Rome I
