Sure I suppose it is possible. Would rather focus on the evidence if there is any. But it is not far-fetched.
Didn't know that about the Beowulf stories. The Norse aren't really my thing and I wouldn't know where to start. However the Ragnar story isn't too helpful in establishing details or historicity. For example it doesn't mention Paris which ought to be significant. Many of the events are not clear in the story. Kind of hard to piece together what actually happened. All we really have to go on is raids in England and a King Aella, maybe Paris.
