The game is slowly coming to an end. Please, show in the next two Fridays, 2 last factions. Since the last faction passed 2 weeks, and the next will be the fastest for almost a week - total of 3 weeks. Please show this Friday next. Don't drag the wait. We want to see the campaign and naval battles. Then we want to see gameplay of the battles with AI and multiplayer.

I know that many people think the battle of the Teutoburg Forest for a fun, but watch any materials (screens and trailer) from it since 3 weeks. The first screenshots of that battle appeared after the presentation of the Gauls - Arverni.

There are many important things that aren't shown. You cannot lose the whole of March for the last 2 factions.

i agree here the quicker the better

many of us are in it for the campaign map and not so much the better visuals, and im banking all factions will be unlocked some months after release through dlc or some such anyway so its the least interesting on my part

For christ sake's there's more than six months to go yet. I'm surprised they even started the faction reveals so early. They have been pretty regular with releasing information but as with previous TW games we won't see the campaign map for another three months at least.

My guess is that it will be released somewhere between september-october. That is 7-8 months from now, which is roughly 30 weeks from now. So no need to hurry up. Do I want them to release everything at once? Of course, but from a PR standpoint that's not a good way to sell your game. The more anticipation you can pump into the mindless horde, the better your sales will be.

That would have nothing to do with marketing. Even if it were finished six months before release that doesn't mean you'd release any more information than usual.

I think that they don't want to reveal too much information, because they know that a lot of people have different requirements. If they showed soon many people will ask for a different specified below. How to show a campaign in July to say that there is no time to correct as soon have a game to test and package.

It doesn't take long to package a game anyway, usually a game goes gold less than a month before release.

This isn't an easy procedure as you. They didn't pack it one place - manufacturer. Use a variety of factory - in place of burning DVD, and other packaged in a colorful box. For each of these places need to play to send cars or airplanes. After packing you need to distribute it to stores in various locations around the world. Packing + hipping alone takes nearly a month.

Really, we're lucky to have the information we have. Sure, I'd love to see every aspect of the game in detail, but it's their product, they aren't done with it, and it's probably going to be a fair amount of time to release anyway.

It is a little time - naval battles per month, a month of campaign, a month of land battles, sieges,..., another on the gameplay of the battles and presenting ''chapters''. It's really not enough time. Last month it testeowanie game and at the end of packaging and shipping.
That's why we want to speed up information.

I'm not fussed about being revealed information. I quite like finding out all the new stuff for myself - That's why I hope they show the map and some factions but don't reveal all of the new stuff.

There is no way I would want a 60 minute campaign demonstration or battle - small reveals like the one's we have had are fine.

Must depend on the publisher - Mortal Kombat 9 went gold on April the 5th and was released on April the 19th.

I am with my friend KLA on this one.
While factions are nice to argue over and debate.
The gameplay and AI working,s together with the campaign map are the what really counts when it comes to developing a great game.
Lets see a bit of the real nuts and bolts of ROME II.
