    Default Victory requirement question

As per the title, I want to know whether taking Kyoto without being declared Shogun and holding the required 25 provinces will satisfy the victory requirements?

I'm currently doing a legendary campaign and don't want to hang around to long for clans half the map away to send naval invasions.

When you captured Kyoto, you don't have choice to not became Shogun but if you captured Kyoto first before Realms Divide outbreak, you're safe for couple turns before everyone go aggressive toward you [those clans that fighting each others]

And no, hold 25 provinces without Kyoto is not met victory condition.
Its easy to make war with others, its never been easy when we need a peace.

What I meant to say is taking the 25th province within the 4 turns of holding Kyoto (to be declared Shogun) will satisfy the victory conditions?

Btw, does capturing Kyoto before Realm divide will cause it to happen?

And I apologize for being unclear in my first post

Yep, if you capture Kyoto the last, its will met.

And yeah, capture Kyoto first before RD start, its still happen but its will happen slower than you just keep capture provinces until RD. I mean before AI start to declare war on you entirely.

For the 1st question in the 3rd post: Yes, the conditions stated above will meet the victory requirements, thus declaring a won campaign.

For the 2nd question: Capturing Kyoto before Realm Divide will indeed the trigger the event, although I am quite unsure if it is immediately triggered or it will wait for a couple of turns since I haven't tried it yet. I've only read some posts regarding this question before, and people were positive that the capture of Kyoto indeed triggers Realm Divide.

Altimis has already answered your question, but since I had trouble understanding his post, I just cleared things up for you a little bit. Basically everything I said is what he said.
