New PC Gamer interview

In this month's PC Gamer, there's a new interview. It's short, and it's mostly about the individualized soldiers. They did clarify a little bit on upgraded weapons. Every weapon or armor upgrade will be noticeable on the battlefield. Some changes will be subtle (like a longer spearhead), but other changes will involve whole new weapons. Pretty cool.

As far as I can tell, there's only that one version in print. There's also a new screenshot, but it's more of the same (English knights charging into Scots).

TBF, that is the part of the game most English people are looking forward to most.

The upgrades sound like they could be good fun. I wonder how the different weapons will work. Will it just be a different type of the same weapon or will units evolve over periods?

This topic was well chewed over and tested! on the Discovery Channel (or was it National Geographic?). The longbows very likely did NOT pierce through French armour. The totally armoured knights simply got stuck in the mud on the battlefield and some might have drowned in the mud while the lightly-to-no armoured longbowmen were able to kill them with knives... What a way to end... You can't even say you died fighting. They died... stuck. :sick0010:

Turn to the last page and it tells you its an international selling mag, russia, america, etc...

The american version has the interview.
