Hi there, I know how to read the attack and defence upgrades (ex.2 flags + 3 flags = silver/Gold) but how can you read the experience upgrades?
Images would be greatly appreciated if possible.
Thank you

A unit lights up when getting experience. To know what effect this has on the attack and defence score, you'll have to compare with another unit without the experience. Usually, experience gives an extra attack and defence point. As far as I know, there is no way to read the benefits straight away.
Thanks for the reply. I'm actually referring to for instance when I look at a replay of a battle and zoom in on a unit, I can see the small flags for the attack and defense but I was wondering how can I see what how many experience arrows/marks the unit has?
Usually, the amount of small flags floating above a unit refers to the amount of experience?
I don't think you can tell. I just check in the pre-battle screen, the one with the options of retreating and auto-resolving. No idea for MP though, but it should be something with the flags.![]()
WIP. Watch this space. It'll be epic.
No, seriously.
Yeah, forget what the difference between flags is but 3 flags for each skill and they look different. So a unit fully upgraded has 9 little flags in front of it with them divided between the 3 different areas somehow.
ok hmmmm, we 're getting closer people lol. If any one has pics or more info plleeeeeease come forward with it. Much appreciated.
I think I saw a video by Prince of Macedon on youtube that described it. I tried to find it but couldn't. Might of been Heir of Carthage aswell.
In order to see these flags you need to have 'unit banners' showing which is done using the preferences.txt (SHOW_BANNERS:TRUE).
I hate them so they are turned off. If you play MP it's best to have them on as you can see which units the enemy has upgraded....
