    Default Troop type and rebellions

Does it make a differenece in BI if I recruit a Foederati or a Roman unit playing the Western Roman Empire?

Do barbarian units have a greater propensity to revolt? Someone in another thread mentioned to disband all Barbarian units to end riots/revolts......have not noticed this at all in my current campaign.

i don't really know if they're more likely to follow revolting general than Roman troops, however i did read the thread you mentioned. i think that the guy who posted that suggested you disband Foederati because they aren't as kick ass as Legionaries and too expensive upkeep wise to justify use as garrisons. and for anyone whose tried playing as the Western Romans knows that if you don't trim upkeep costs FAST you'll be drowning in debt very very quickly.

Yes, I was hoping that for historical accuracy, Foederati would be more suseptable to revolt, being barbarians. I am using Goth's BI all factions mod

Ive been playing WRE and have difficulty not with money, but with the # of enemies: 9 factions are at war with me...including the eastern empire!

Diplomacy don't work at all. Nobody will allign themselves with me.... and can't get a ceasefire from any faction.

Settings for campaign are hard/very hard.

The diplomatic problems you are having are of your own design. On Hard settings you don't get a lot of alliances and on VH everyone hates you.
