I'm currently in 180BC and I'm controlling a very large part of the map. I've already got several Imperial palace's etc... but still no Marius reforms. And I'm really starting to hate that! Has anyone else had it take so long?

if your using rtrpe, the marius requirement is 1 imperial palace in italy, which for me has always been roma.
you need an Imperial Palace in Italy other than Rome
same here. I always get it in the 260's b.c. Never have a problem there. I always build an imperial palace in Roma, and I get them.

In 1.5 it doesn't have to be outside Rome.
I`m pretty sure that the problem with "outside Rome" was fixed in RTRPE v1.6. So you can build one in Rome for the effect to occur.Originally Posted by Solaris
