[FOTS] Railway battles?

So, I've recently bought FOTS, and found the railway system a very fun addition(yeah, I'm that shallow

) So, the question is, is it possible to fight near a railway and see the actual railway in the battle map? with perhaps a train passing through? I haven't been lucky enough to fight near a railway, so I thought you guys might have been more fortunate.

Yes, It is possible to fight near Railways and Telegraph Lines...but you wouldnt find any Trains running through them...

Thank you very much good sir for the very quick response. It would have been nice to see a steam train passing through the battlefield and recklessly ram through my soldiers. Oh well, here's a +rep for you good sir!

If you park Ships for Bombardment, sometimes You can see the Ships offshore when you play a Land Battle near the Coast..

I already tried that in my first campaign as Satsuma and I found it very amusing. I should've taken a screenie, but oh well...

No; i had it n my screenshots folder. made it during a co-op campaign with a friend.

I wish trains would come through :/

Or maybe come through and stop and allow us to mount our units on their railway cars

Or let us use railroads for emergency reinforcements similar to this around 1 hour 15 min in

Well, all that would only be a distant dream as CA is already working with Rome 2. It would be nice to board train cars and all, but I would rather have a heavily researched Rome 2 than a railway battle map feature for FOTS though.

The train unload soldiers and battle? that will not happen in FOTS :/ I wish I could have one.

Yeah, I wish that feature would be implemented, but for FOTS, it would be hopeless. Let's just hope a distant Victoria:TotalWar would include such features.
