Slow mouse speed problem.

I actually did a Google for this one, and came up with a whole lot of nothing, or at least no way to fix it. It's really slow and I know it's not related to my framerate as is suggested in other forums because I have a GTX 580. Which well and truly owns the old graphics of this game.

Anyway, if anyone has any tips or tricks to speed up the mouse cursor, I'd be most appreciative. Thanks.

A mouse with several speeds? I have a logitech G500, works fine, has 5 speeds. I always feel the need for an other speed for RTW. 3000, 4000 DPI should do the trick.

What kind'a mouse you got - wireless maybe?

If yes - try out a wired one - got that problem once with rtw back in those days when it got released.

Off course don't go straight for buying a new one - check if you get one to try out for free from a mate or so.

I was literally about to post a thread on this issue when I saw yours! Unfortunately, I do not have a solution, and I have always had this problem with RTW (Got it soon after release as well). Basically, the cursor has always been slow, regardless of my PC set up (I have played RTW on numerous PCs ranging in power, my current set up is a RADEON 6850 hd and 4gb RAM). It has also been slow on all the mods I have played (RTR, EB, RS) and although it does go faster when i adjust my mouse speed, it is still slow, if that makes sense; yes the cursor moves faster, but it isn't a smooth glide like a desktop cursor or the medieval 2 cursor. To be honest, the Rome videos I have seen on youtube also seem to have this slight cursor lag; I'm just convinced it is an inherent problem in the game that has never been addressed.

Dam, i got this problem, the cursor of Rome feels like if i was using those old mouses of the 90s with a ball like a wheel in the middle and it got some **** stuck in it.. still i Kick ass in Rome!!!
