Okay, no more posting threads like this if you can't post a link to the site. It's bloody annoying. Not a very important or big thing, just a bloody annoyance.

Looks good. I never really used them in Medieval, but i think i'll definitely be recruiting some of these guys into my army!

When they pulled off a well timed and accurate throw, these guys were nasty scary in MTW. However, not even friendly soldiers wanted to stand near them because of the friendly "fire" that happened on occaision.![]()
They are probably good for sieges. If you have a unit above the gateway, then anyone trying to enter gets burned!
To make the units useful, there is a system I thought would be nice. In RTW, the units have a weapon, and a special ability button(formation or fire arrows). What if these guys had a special ability that made them throw naptha? Then you easily control their fire, and make them fight with swords instead of standing there reloading and throwing when charged.
waw... they are mean =)
thx for info =)

I'd like to see what these boys can do with the new fire system.
Hopefully they aren't too overpowered but it's not that bad to balance, high damage, long reload, short range. I'll definately have to give them a go when it's out though.
Great unit :happy0144 Let the armoured canned infidels burn! Muhahhahaha![]()
I remember the good old timeswhen I used nafta throwers back in original MTW and the fact that they can catch fire themselves
It'll be amazingly fun to use these 'piro-maniac' guys again in an awesome 3d battlefield :happy0065 I wonder what is their animation when lighting that pot of nafta :sick0010:

They are pretty sweet looking, although they seem to be way too armored for what they do (throwing a pot of flamable liquid and running away), I would think they would want to be as mobile as possible.

Ooo he looks grumpy. Seems to be a tadd bit bigger than the rest too. Nice unit, though...

Nice, although I have a discomforting dejavu that I managed to inflict more deaths to my own troops than the enemies in MTW... It would be nice if they could set flame to ladders and other siege machines. I assume this weapon was mainly used in sieges? Were called naptha throwers in MTW weren´t they?

I like the look of these units...
Go CA!
Used to love using the Naptha throwers in MTW. So Long as you were careful and micromanaged them a bit you could get great results.
Of course there was the odd blue on blue incident...
Can't wait to defend the walls with these,
Yeah that would be fantastic to watch :happy0144 Somehow I remember one Stronghold:Crusader mission (capturing Jerusalem maybe) and also the movie Kingdom of Heaven where the defenders of Jerusalem used nafta on towers and battering ram too. That was spectacular :happy0065Originally Posted by mark0701

They really did not accomplish to much in MTW 1 :illgetyou
