Roman Army Composition

Originally for my romani campaign I was playing using Quintus Sertorius's army composition. Found here http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...(Redux-for-EB).
Anyway I'm now not too sure if I should continue using these army compositions or if I should switch to the 1 stack= 1 legion composition. What do you guys think?

I usually have 3 Hastati 3 of the other medium infantry and 3 tiariai. Then 2 equites and 2 slingers and 2 of the javelin men the rest what ever mercenaries or Allied infantry available
