Default Having trouble starting a campaign. Maybe a wrong install somewhere

I have RTW, and the two expansions all patched up. EB patched to latest, with a few unofficial mods such as the RS2 environments, the mega mod pack with fixes and the Alexander for EB mod with related fixes. Using the Alex exe with the following target line -mod:eb -show_err -nm -noalexander -ne -window.

I just go to start a new campaign and it catapults me back to the main menu, makes the clashing sound like usual. Im thinking i know i installed the files in the correct places, maybe a mod incompatible with each other?

Edit : I did not notice the bug report section so my apologies, maybe some one could move it there for me?

I am unsure if RS2 environments works the teh megamod. It may interfere with the strat mod or village mod or somehting else.

Also (probably not relevant) you don't need to install the alexander for eb with megamod as he already has it on his alex version (on that note make sure you are using his alex version and not his rtw version)

If you are using city mod, it has been confirmed to not work with his mod (though he is wrong about not being able to do night battles on Alex with city mod, i've had no problems so far).

If you use RS2 environments, you probably have to delete hte map.rwm files and create new ones. Though I am not sure if this causes this problem you have. I had the same problem recently but I cannot remember specifically what I did to fix it. I think I either dropped RS2 in the wrong folder of had to delete map.rwm. When in doubt, always delete it and create a new one.

Perhaps you should in detail list every single thing you did. In the past year I have been making a list of compatibility issues with various mods. Unfortunately most of the mods on jirisy's megamod are no longer available individually.

For what it's worth, check the more recent posts on lz3's minimod. SOmeone recently posted the alex version. it is def compatible with citymod, rs2 environs, extended unit info mod, eastern hellenic portrait pack, cute wolf's unit fixes, and eastern hellenic portraits (all currently available for download). If you want to extend movement points you don't need realistic movement mod, just check this thread http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showth...uther-per-turn

double post, stigma, tainted. oh well. don't know how to edit here.

Just noticed the " -window" in your shortcut, probably need to get rid of it. Perhaps that is your problem. your shortcut should look like this <rtwdirectory>RomeTW-ALX.exe -mod:eb -show err -nm -noalexander -ne
