    Default Battle Interface Problem

    Hi when I play a battle (both custom or campaign) I got this problem with the interface:
    (With one unit)


    (With two or more units)


    I have made minor changes to the EDB to make some units recruitable with other buildings but it works perfectly.
    Any suggestions? Thanks

    Did it do this before changing the EDB?

    This looks like an old damn near out of memory thing. Try lowering your graphics setting including monitor resolution.

    It doesn't work, even switching back to the original EDB, plus sometimes the loading screen turns black until the loadbar is full (even with the other MTW2 games, though the battle interface problem affects only this game)

    EDIT: I solved the interface problem (at least for now), but the loading screen is still black while loading (this started when I tried to lower the graphic setting, but when I put them back as before this new problem persists

    I'd say lack of a dedicated graphics card unless you have one HP is not letting show up in the dxdiag.

    The graphics chip inside the i7 is better than many low end graphics cards on the market like 210/220 series but an old 8800GT will beat it on Medieval2.

    Then, I would not be surprised if Securom has noted your Daemon Tools and playing mind games with you.

    Uninstall it and the virtual drives. It your battle ui still looks the same, not Securom but your lack of a decent graphics card.

    Ok, the UI problem is solved, but I still get black loading screen (although it is visible when the loading bar is still completely empty). I've noticed it happens only in the loading between the intro and the main menu, when starting a custom battle and when starting/continuing a campaign
