Can't install get .NET Framework

So I downloaded the game on the Gamefly website, which was once Direct2Drive. I played it and it worked for a while, until I unpacked it and started messing around. I must have done something because every time I tried to open the game absolutely nothing would happen. So I decided to uninstall it and reinstall. Now after the Gamefly client "downloads" the game and then tries to install it, I get this error;

If you can't find a way to zoom in it says;

"To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework:
v4.0.30319
Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Framework."

It locks up the Gamefly client and the only way to cancel it is to restart my computer. I've looked online and most people have this issue after they've installed it, and most people bought it through Steam, not Gamefly.
