Icon5 How to get Total Diplomacy out of MOS?

    Hi all,

I have been using the MOS mod for this game and the scriptns included are brilliant, however the Total Diplomacy aspect of it is a bit of a game killer, it's far too easy to cheat without meaning too :\

Also, I have been playing the campaign for a good couple of hours tonight when suddenly my wealth shoots up to infinite?? Again, this has ruined the experience for me and I am not sure what the cause is.. <.<

anyone want to explain? (had to take the screenshot with steam open as it wasn't capturing the image)

    Thanks

If you're using MOS, why aren't you asking in the MOS thread?

Have you made Dunland your vassals? They have a huuuge income and spawns armies! Which i think is really nice!
If they be your vassals you will get all their money or such. I can't remember how much they can have before you start to get money.

I made them my vassal once and got 2 millions gold

If not, you have to give more information about your campaign...

Aha! Yes I have :') funny how you should guess that!

problem solved then that it is my own fault.

However is there a way to take this mod out anyway as I shouldn't technically have been able to make them vassals aha

is this not one of the things you can turn of at the beginning of each MOS campaign?? i think it is , if you don't like it just turn it of that way cause its impossible afaik to change your script options after you end the first turn

You are asked at the start of the campaign what options you wish to use. Total Diplomacy as well as Forced Diplomacy are both optional submods. You will have chosen "yes" and it cannot be changed AFAIK- unless you start a new campaign.

Also, do not listen to my countryman, lots of wealth is bad for you. As soon as you reach 40k gc, your generals will begin to embezzle and gain really- really bad traits. Both as Governors and Generals. So, when you have loads of wonga, park a diplomat next to an ally and give them the excess gold every turn. If Dunland is your Vassal, you can give it to them and get it back next round until the alliance is broken. But alternatively you can fund Gondor's campaign against Mordor or dale's against Rhûn (I did that in my second-last FPoE campaign). However, to give it to a vassal is best as the AI factions get scripted gc anyway.

Total Diplomacy is not optional (the scroll simply present you with the fact that TD exist).

Why not optional then? Because all of Total Diplomacy's features are self-activated, a.k.a only kick in if a player chose to use them in-game by buttons or key-combinations.

And please ask submod-related matters in their respective thread, in this case the MOS-thread

IIRC a vasall give half their income each turn to their lords
